Pre-registration costs $15 (until May 28) and includes the pancake breakfast and a t-shirt. Race day registration is $20, including the pancake breakfast, but t-shirt availability is limited. All entries with a valid email address will receive pre-race confirmation of entry and race results will be emailed to them after the race.

About the Course

The distance is 5 kilometers with rolling hills that starts and ends at Abiding Word Lutheran Church. The race route goes through the scenic Landen Lake area. RunningTime.net describes this as a REALLY GREAT COURSE! Course is professionally measured and timed.

The race is held at Abiding Word Lutheran Church, 8470 Landen Drive in Maineville. For detailed directions, please fill out the form entitled, "Get Directions to Our Church," located in the left column.

Parking

Parking is available onsite. Additional Parking is located in the Kroger lot across Landen Drive from the church.

Age Group Categories

Runner age groups

14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over

Walker age groups

29 & under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over

Race Awards

A $65 gift card to The Running Spot goes to the overall Top Male and Female Runner and Walker. Also, age-group awards will be distributed to the top male and female in each category.

Results will be posted online shortly after the race.

Post Race 2011

Bob Fehrenbach, 43, from Cincinnati, won the 7^th Annual Run for the Prize 5K, with a finishing time of 0:17:35. He was about thirty seconds faster than Chris Cavanaugh, of Cincinnati, who finished in 0:17:59.

Kerry Lee, 36, from Cincinnati, won the women's title with a time of 0:18:08. CJ Kim, 42, of Fort Thomas, KY, took second place with a time of 0:21:06.

Ben Matheus, 15, from Mason, won the men's walking title, with a time of 0:33:01. Anthony Lev, 11, of Sycamore, finished second with a time of 0:37:51.

Karen Wilson, 53, from Midway, KY, won the women’s walking title, finishing with a time of 0:31:46. Patsy Darling, 74, of Sharonville, finished second with a time of 0:35:43.
