Abiding Word remains committed to proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to a world corrupted by sin. Each week, our worship focuses on the message that “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8, NIV).

Abiding Word Lutheran Church is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). The WELS has roots going back to 1850, and has become a confessional, mission-minded Lutheran church today.

Get connected to our church through Bible Information Classes.  The classes are designed to acquaint you with all the truths of Scripture. You can ask any question you might have about the Bible, the Christian faith, the history of the church, etc. This course is free and has simple weekly homework assignments, intended to help you incorporate the Bible into your everyday life.

Bible Information Classes are held with the Pastor, at a date, time and location of your choosing. The class is a requirement for membership. Registered members may use our prayer chain to submit prayers privately to the pastor or to all members of the congregation that subscribe to the prayer chain.

We follow a form of worship called the liturgy. The word liturgy means service. In our worship, the emphasis on service is two-fold. The primary emphasis centers around God's gracious, undeserved service to us through the Word and the Sacraments (Baptism and the Lord's Supper).
