Sunday School Program

Knowledge and understanding of Scripture is very important at Abiding Word.

We strive to follow the encouragement of the apostle Paul when he wrote, “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16).

General Information

  • Sunday school is for children ages 3 through 8th grade and their parents.
  • Sunday school meets each Sunday at 10:45 am.
  • To assist parents, a class that parallels the children’s Sunday School lesson is offered. This study goes into greater detail, and allows parents to reinforce the Sunday School lesson during the week.
  • Classes for the children meet in the library and the fellowship hall. The adult class meets in the pastor’s office.

Abiding Word uses the Christ-Light Sunday School curriculum, designed to nurture children with God’s Word and allow parents to be actively involved.
